Robots think Humans smell like Pork

Japanse scientists have created a robot that can identify substances through its sense of smell.
It promptly identified one reporter as bacon and another as proscuitto.
Better hope robots are vegan.

This is actually consistent with Polynesian cannibals who referred to human flesh as "long pork" and the Aztecs who had never seen pigs before and thought they must be some deformed offspring of the Spaniards, since they tasted like people.
